GAZ Vehicle Warranty Overview
With the desire to bring the best and long-term vehicle usage experience, GAZ Vietnam not only provides quality vehicles but also commits to accompanying customers after sales through a flexible warranty policy of up to 3 years or 150,000 km and on-site technical support.
We understand that every journey is important, so GAZ Vietnam is always ready to listen, support and provide reasonable solutions - even when the vehicle's standard warranty has expired. From technical support to considering repair cost support, all are aimed at helping customers feel secure when using their vehicles in all conditions.
For the warranty to be valid
GAZ is responsible for reimbursing warranty costs for manufacturer's defects related to materials, assembly, design or technology of GAZ vehicles provided that:
- The vehicle is operated in accordance with the rules specified in the Owner's Manual
- Periodic maintenance is carried out in accordance with the instructions in the Warranty Booklet at the prescribed intervals, and does not exceed 1000 km from the specified frequency
- Periodic maintenance can be confirmed by stamps in the Warranty Booklet and/or Repair Settlement for the respective periodic maintenance.
Warranty Terms
Warranty Period
The manufacturer specifies the warranty policy for vehicles sold in Vietnam as follows:
GAZelle Next Citiline (16+1) and GAZelle City (18+1):
Warranty period: 3 years or 150,000 km (whichever comes first)
The components installed on the vehicle have limited warranty periods as follows:

| Engine, clutch, gearbox | 12 months or 40,000 km |
| Drivetrain system and front axle, powertrain components | 12 months or 50,000 km |
| Chassis, body, and frame (applicable only in case of rust, corrosion, or perforation due to material defect) | 12 months or 100,000 km |
| Ambulances and buses | Not eligible for the 3-year or 150,000 km warranty policy |
Note:

GAZ reserves the right to change the warranty terms for vehicles and components depending on production date and official distribution market.

GAZ may refuse warranty claims if the vehicle is used improperly or under severe conditions such as overloading, overspeeding, off-road use, etc., or if periodic maintenance is not performed.

To ensure warranty coverage, customers must strictly follow the required maintenance schedule and not exceed 1,000 km beyond the prescribed mileage noted in the Warranty Book and/or the Repair Invoice confirmed by an authorized dealer.
Items Not Covered by Warranty
Repairs or replacements not classified as “manufacturer defects”:

Wear and tear during regular operation: clutch, brake system, brake drums and discs, tires, belts, rubber components, various lights, fuses, etc.

Natural wear or improper use.

Damage caused by using incorrect fuel or non-standard lubricants.

Damage due to natural disasters, accidents, collisions, vehicle rollovers, scratches, chemical corrosion, or other external impacts.

Damage resulting from repairs or part replacements using non-genuine components or modifications to the vehicle's structure.

Failure to perform or improperly performing scheduled maintenance.

Unauthorized tampering with the odometer.

Damage arising from the installation of non-standard aftermarket electronic devices.

Operating the vehicle under conditions that adversely affect fuel consumption.
Malfunctions arising from vehicle usage:

Vehicle abuse or use outside of its intended purpose.

Lack of regular maintenance or failure to follow maintenance instructions.

Use of incorrect fuel, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid, windshield washer fluid, or other specified fluids.

Unauthorized modification, adjustment, or interference with the vehicle’s structure, electrical system, or engine control system.

Repairs or installation of electrical devices that do not meet required standards.
Damage caused by use of unapproved oils, coolants, and other fluids:

Use of incorrect types or grades of engine oil, transmission oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, coolant, or other liquids.

Expenses resulting from unauthorized repair or service actions, or maintenance not performed according to the manufacturer's recommendation—including full vehicle repair or unscheduled maintenance.

Issues caused by improper cleaning, poor external maintenance, or exposure to radioactive dust, insects, salt, sand, dirt, tree sap, corrosive detergents, or unsuitable cleaning chemicals.
The consequences of accidents, force majeure, natural wear, or improper usage are not covered under the warranty.
